Brief Resume
Mariela Tapia-Leon is a full-time professor and researcher at the University of Guayaquil, Guayaquil-Ecuador. She is a System Engineering by Escuela Politécnica del Ejército and she has a Magister in Management of Information and Communication Technologies by Universidad Estatal de Milagro. She started investigating in 2014. Since then, she has researched regarding technologies applied in the field of education, especially e-learning, human-machine interaction, web accessibility, usability, web quality assurance. Most recently, she has entered the world of the Semantic Web. Her interest is to continue researching the challenges, limitations, and benefits of Ontologies in Higher Education Institutions.
